Our team connects young adults, aged 16-24, with FREE education and training programs, industry-recognized credentials, paid work experiences, and support services to become self-sufficient.
Our Connectors will work with you to find a program that will help you increase your academic skills and complete your high school diploma or high school equivalency exams. Classes are offered in study skills and tutors are available to assist you.

We connect students with one of our training providers to gain skills in the career path of their choice as well as receive industry recognized credentials to help them on their career journey. Students will work with Connect staff and a local employer to secure a paid work-based learning experience. Check out our approved training programs by clicking the button below.
Our Connect Counselors will support participants throughout their enrollment in the program.
The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) offers an integrated and comprehensive range of services consisting of workforce development activities benefiting job seekers—adults, dislocated workers, youth, incumbent workers, new entrants to the workforce, veterans, individuals with disabilities—and employers.
WIOA’s objective is to meet employers’ needs by increasing employment, job retention, earnings, and occupational skills among all job seeker populations. Job seekers first must meet WIOA eligibility requirements to receive WIOA-funded services. More information on the WIOA program may be viewed on the WIOA orientation video below. All applicants must watch the orientation video prior to contacting a case manager or attending a eligibility determination meeting.
LifeSkills Connection is an equal opportunity employer/program. Auxiliary aids and services are available upon request to individuals with disabilities. Program funded through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) in partnership with Heartland Works, Inc.
