Our team works closely with local workforce development boards to coordinate one stop service delivery of required partners and service providers.
Iowa Plains One Stop Operator
LifeSkills Connection operates the one stop operator contract for the Iowa Plains Local Workforce Development Area providing services to a 42-county region in Western Iowa. IowaWORKS Centers are located in Council Bluffs, Sioux City, Denison, Spencer, Creston, and Fort Dodge.
Northeast Oklahoma One Stop Operator
The NEWD area covers seven counties in Northeast Oklahoma including Craig, Delaware, Mayes, Nowata, Ottawa, Rogers, and Washington. Career centers are located in Bartlesville, Miami, and Pryor.
Kansas Connect
In July 2024, LifeSkills was awarded Kansas Local Area II WIOA youth funding to implement Kansas Connect across 17 counties in Northeast Kansas. Our team connects young adults, aged 16-24, with FREE education and training programs, industry-recognized credentials, paid work experiences, and support services to become self-sufficient.
